Yes, Kade is correct. The challenge will start on August 1st. Either tonight or tomorrow morning, the teams will know which 3 characters they are starting off with.

cynthia (cynthiaaa_) hi, what do you mean by "authors initials in sultan"?

message 6: by cynthia (new)

cynthia (cynthiaaa_) also, another question: can we log one book for multiple categories? as in, if it fills a few of the conditions (has word -, letters in the title are -, etc) can we mark it for all of them or just one?

So, for author's initials in task - first, middle, or last initial can count towards the word. For example, A Dark and Hollow Star would work because the author's initials, AS, are in SULTAN.

Hmm... one book for task if it's over 100 pages. You can use any edition of a book though. If the book is less than 100 pages, then I will allow you add books up until they either equal 100 pages or over. They will all count has one book and the total page points instead of being individually counted.

Aneta | 1305 comments Can I use book I started before August for prompts? I read around 50% in July and I'm not sure if I can only use it for page points or prompts as well.

If you end up reading 100 pages or over that, then yes - you can use it towards a category. If not, then it will just be page points (the amount you read in August).

Tavia (shantavia) | 35 comments Hi. For Ratcliffe, can a crown be considered a hat? Like on this cover: The Hawthorne Legacy (The Inheritance Games, #2) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

message 12: by Mucia (new)

Mucia (muciaf21) | 338 comments If you were buddy reading with someone that's on your team, could you still use your pages for points?

I'm working under the assumption that I can't make the same book fit under another category.

If you are buddy reading with someone within this group, whether they are on your team or not, you can post the same book (with your own reviews and links to said buddy thread) and count them towards different tasks.

If it's easier to remember, one book per task. It doesn't matter if you and someone else on your team have read the same book. Or are currently reading the same book.

Hello! I will count that for the get hurt task. Also, for Round 1, you do get all the character twice. So, if your book works for a task that wasn't already completed for Shan Yu, you can hold it until your team gets that character again. Or if it works for another character/task.

I will allow this since 'tick' is in stick and 'tock' is in stockings.
