Edit to add: I was digging pretty deep into Verne’s works as listed on Goodreads, and I noticed a lot of issues that really need addressing. See my replies below (due to character count restrictions, I'm unable to list them in my original comment).

Major issues include:

- Mainly there are books within a series (or, more commonly, that are sometimes published as multiple volumes, and sometimes published in a single edition) that aren’t properly combined into a series. Often, for a given book, there is already a Goodreads series created for a specific edition with multiple volumes, but not all editions of the book have been added to the series.
- I’ve found numerous editions of the same book that need combining/merging. I’ve tried to track them all down (linked below) so they may be properly combined.
- There are persistent title issues (lots of titles still have “extraordinary voyages #x” or something similar in their title). I didn’t point all of these out, but if someone is willing to scroll through Venre’s works and correct this, it would be much appreciated.
- Many of the default book editions and series titles seem like odd choices (eg, they’re in a language like Polish or Arabic, rather than English or even French). I don’t know if this is something librarians can change.

Cleaning this up will be a huge project. I’ve done as much as I can (without being a librarian myself) to make things as easy as possible for anyone who is able to help. Would appreciate anyone who’s able to pitch in on this.

Additionally, many of Verne's novels/short stories were part of his "Extraordinary Voyages" (or, in the original French, "Voyages extraordinaires") series (see here: https://www.amazon.com/Jules-Verne-Ex...).

Much like Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, these do not always have characters in common, but are part of a broader universe. Also like Discword, there are sub-series within the larger series. Many existing books in the Goodreads database already reference the series and/or collect multiple installments in a single volume, eg (ISBN13: 9781435122956).

I have added Castaways to the Nemo series.

Extraordinary Voyages is not a valid series on Goodreads and it has been removed numerous times. There is nothing that connects all of the books.

Discworld is a fictional location so by definition they are connected.

Thank you, Scott! That makes sense re: Extraordinary Voyages as an invalid series.

I have noticed a lot of other issues with Verne on Goodreads (I've edited my initial post to reflect some of the overarching themes), and will be replying below with detailed problems that need to be addressed.
