Dulo Par (usershow14148604-randy-resnick) Greetings all. Although I joined GoodReads ten years ago, I haven't been around much in the past few years.

Here's a description of my new SF novelette, 'StingerBots'

Available in paperback, 72 pages.

The story evolves around a racially diverse cast of quirky characters. It deals with the technology and extrapolates the world of 2022 to that of 2052:

It’s the second half of the 21st century, VSR, Virtual Sexual Reality, effective with specialized hardware, is a casual part of daily life for millions. Politics, too, is now openly influenced by sex, rather than money. Sex is power and gender identity is not an issue. Surveillance is ubiquitous, but the highest level hackers can still work around it. Nanotech has been refined to the point of being able to aid as well as disrupt the mammalian nervous system in a number of disturbing ways. Money is no longer a thing, now it’s all about digital coin. Mexico has been able to add several former U.S. states to its federation, MexFed. Among the latest was NorCal, about 10 years after the Northern-Southern California split.
