Nabiha ❦ | 23 comments Hey, I’ve not yet delved into the fantasy genre myself cause I’m fairly new to reading as is but I’d like to know from people who love and read fantasy about why you like it or why most people tend to kinda stay away from it, cheers, thanks

Izzy fowles | 3 comments i’ve only read 2 fantasy books and i loved them, they were in the same series. (this poison heart, this wicked fate) they were very easy to get in to. i liked them because it was different compared to romance which i normally read and it ‘takes you into a different world’ if that makes sense?

rawan ೀ (semi-hiatus) | 9 comments i honestly did not read much fantasy, but the books ive read i have never felt anything like that while reading books! you go through different world building and the details just so breathtaking. its like youre there with the characters! i think most readers back away from fantasy because most of the books has so much world building, and kind of slow pace at the start of the book, or the first book if its a series. it may trouble readers who cant imagine the world or characters. also, almost every fantasy book they create new words that are strange and confusing at first. but my fav ever book is the queen of nothing by holly black (third and final book of the folk of air trilogy).
