Lynnette | 324 comments A year or so ago I read Freedom It was a great book with a great storyline, wonderful twists and turns and interesting colorful, well-developed characters. However, I hated all of them. Not one of the characters had a moral compass, possessed little in the way of ethical behaviors and were just bad people. I couldn’t bring myself to like any of them. Still, I loved the book.
We often like and or connect with books because we love the characters (real or fictional), but do you have any characters that you love to hate?

I strongly dislike most of the main characters in the Wheel of Time series, except Mat Couthon. But I love rereading that whole series.

I didn't like the characters in Freedom either. It had some scenes I enjoyed though.

Vanessa Dargain | 503 comments I'm reading one of the many Star Wars novels for this Readathon and I love hating Jabba the Hutt of Tatooine and also the Tectozin people of the gem planet . Both are cruel and greedy .
