Francisco Ponce palmero | 107 comments hi, I've got some questions for you about the Oxrun Station series by Charles L Grant. I know there are some novels and some collection of novellas, what I want to know is can you read the novels and novellas in any order or you must read them chronologically? are there a strong continuity between them or they are stand alone novels? which are your favourite titles in the series?
Thanks in advance

Karen (hmssparky) | 200 comments If I remember correctly, there is some continuity, so far as the setting in Oxrun Station goes, but I don't even know if I read them in order or not. Guess I'd say that you can read them in any order & still enjoy them. I cannot pick a favorite out of them all, except to say that I always prefer the novels over the novellas; more room for character development. Great series!

It doesn't really matter what order you read them in, but in terms of the novella collections my own favorites are The Black Carousel and The Orchard. Either would be a great place to start with Oxrun Station.

This is my own experience with them. I agree they can really be appreciated in any order, but enjoyed the novellas more--they seemed faster paced, imho.
