What are you currently reading and is it going well?
what drew you to the book/story and would you recommend it?

Just finished Double Take by: Alyssa Turner I bought it on sale for $.99 and been wanting to read it forever, would I recommend it? I guess if I knew the person would like it, it is a decent read and really like the characters but also to me felt some things where missing that should have been in the book? I also feel like it left off on a cliffhanger and there’s no more books to the story??

what was it about?

I’m currently reading Billy Summers by Stephen King for my August book club at the library.. my first Stephen King book! I hear you either absolutely love him or you aren’t a fan.. so I’m anxious to see where I will fall. 😊

considering I enjoy horrors and the strange and have read love raft and all that jazz, still not read a Stephen King book. don't even know where to start lol

That has been my problem too... overwhelming!!

what was it about?"

Based in the future- two brothers who are from the resistance group were part of the group that kidnapped mfc and held her for ransom in her apartment at one time but also saved her from being raped by the guy was their boss, they fell in love with her and after they take over they sneak in as employees on her team and convince her to help bring her company down and they start a Menage relationship between the brothers and her. There’s allot twist and plot’s- whole book is really good but it ends more in a hfn area and leaves it open for more.

Currently reading Her Fantasy Men by: Shayla Black just started the book, grabbed it cause it had a drink on the cover and it was a short fast audible book to knock out a challenge quickly 🤣 will be back when I finish it.

I am currently reading love and other words by Cristina Lauren, but I am still in the beginning so I don’t have a fully formed opinion on it!

**I started reading this series cause I received book #5 as an arc and the first book on 2/27/2020- I have loved the series and really like that I can leave this series and not have to worry about not knowing what is going on, been taking my time on reading this series and its been following the same couple through all of the all of the books. - kindle unlimited/arc from booksprout

A Baby Between Friends by: Kathie DeNosky finished 8/04- 3 star's- contemp / mf / friends to lovers- got the book cause I needed friends to lovers book for a challenge and this was the first I found that I could read- liked the book but at the same time thought something was missing something and not up to what I normally read with a harlequin book- library book

What Happens in Paradise Paradise, #2 by: Elin Hilderbrandfinished on 8/06 4 star's- clean romance. I read this cause the first one was a fit for a challenge and liked it. book is about a wife and her two grown son's who just found their husband and father has another life and child in St. John's and he and his mistress just died in a plain crash and is being investigated by the fbi while they all find new romance's and try to put their lives back together- library book

A Daring Desire by: Jeanne St. James finished on 8/08 3.5 star's - enemies to lovers / office romance / mmf / mfm / taboo-gay for you romance / menage
got for a challenge but found liked the story and eventually will read the rest? 2 lawyers fall for a client and all three come together- library book

got for a challenge but really liked the whole story- library book

Banged Up by: Jeanne St. James finished 8/10 4 star's- I grabbed this cause read another book by the same author and it sounded really good- mf/ mystery / lite dark- library book

Fmc has two teen siblings she’s responsible for and bought a ranch next to mmc they eventually become and item and small town sheriff causes trouble as well- really good book- 4 Stars
