I have been accepted as an author, but cannot edit my profile at all. When I go to edit my profile on my page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

I get a message saying "Sorry, only users with librarian status can edit book and author data. If you would like librarian status, then please apply here." and then get redirected to someone else's profile page (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...)

Any idea why this is happening?

Steve, part of the issue is that your name is pretty common. Which book or books are yours?

Ok, you have a new author page with just that book. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Because we have more than one author named Steve White, you are Steve-6space-White. The extra spaces between your first and last names only show up on book edit pages and your profile edit page, but it tells the system which books are yours. When adding a book manually, be sure to include the extra space, and the book will go where it belongs. If you forget (or a book record is imported), post a new thread in the Librarians Group and any librarian can fix it for you.
