8. A book set on each continent (7 total- North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica/Oceania)

This is another prompt that can be easier to complete if you double up books. You might still have to add in a couple to fill in missing continents, after picking the rest of your books, but if the idea of adding 7 books in one prompt sounds insane, note which continents you already have accounted for so far. If you chose a Clive Cussler novel for prompt 6, for example, you probably have at least 2 continents covered depending on the book. I've read a few where scenes on 3 or more continents are included in a single Cussler novel.
I chose to not double up, so my books for this one are
In Evil Hour - South America
Eyes of the Calculor - Australia
Stories of Hawaii - Oceania (yeah, Hawaii is in the US, but culturally and physically it is often argued to be part of Oceania, especially before US statehood.)
The Reader - Europe
In the Company of Cheerful Ladies- Africa
The Chinese Gold Murders - Asia
Hollow Kingdom - North America

If anyone is looking for book ideas for Africa, I just finished a well-written novel set in Zambia, during the decades of transition from colonialism- The Eye of the Leopard, by Henning Mankell.

he has one - The White Lioness - that fits both Europe (Sweden) and Africa (South Africa) too IIRC
