Lauren | 2157 comments ISBN 9780439295789 has several issues:

- The cover is incorrect. The correct cover is here: https://www.amazon.com/Kidnapped-sch-...
- The existing cover belongs to an edition published by Usborne Classics Retold (as you can see on the cover), which is ISBN 9781409568407: https://www.worldcat.org/title/kidnap... Notably, this is a retelling—should it even be combined with the other editions of the original book?
- I have no idea why Alejandro Lucas Matias Alonso (Translation) is listed. This is an English novel, and both editions (the ISBN and the cover) are in English. The translator should be removed.

Thank you!

Abcdarian | 26579 comments Done. I removed the first Usborne I came across (Stevenson isn't even listed as an author in the worldcat record) but I suspect there are others. With over 100 pages of editions ...

Thanks!

It looks like there are a lot of multiples of the same edition (eg every single edition on page 115), probably because of the import bot. Not worth the time to clean up.

Editions that were imported by an import bot are almost always valid editions (with a different isbn or ASIN), even if they are no longer available, or when no info can be found online for them. It is very common for public domain books to have multiple editions looking identical, but they do have their own isbn or ASIN.
