Hi I’m Amber I’m new to the group and Goodreads. I read a ton as a kid literally every day all day if I wasn’t outside with my cousin and friends. Then I grew up and life got in the way. Now I just bought a new kindle fire max 11 about a month and a half ago and since then I’ve been reading just about every day. I read a lot when I worked at a daycare over 4 years ago during nap time but that only lasted so long.


I love all sorts of books. I’m mostly into ebooks and audiobooks but I do love the smell and feel of a real paper book. I’m currently reading ACOTAR on ebook and then the Britney Spears memoir on audible. I was a twihard in 2009 when Twilight was super popular. That was the last time that I read for the sport of it and not just something to do to pass the time. Now I’m back at reading for pleasure and I could not be more excited!!!


I’m 39 years old. I live in New York with my husband and our 2 dogs. My mil lives with us also which is just, let’s just say chefs kiss, it’s so much fun (are you sensing the sarcasm?). I have a 12 year old jiggy (jack russell/italian greyhound mix who is my cranky old man). Then I have a 1 1/2 year old staffy mix who looks and sounds like she’s tough but really she’s afraid of butterflies and her own shadow. I drive a school bus for a living and train people to drive them when I’m not behind the wheel myself. I absolutely love my job! I don’t have any kids or anything nor do I want any. Hi all, I’ve been part of this group for a while but trying to be more active. I’m a 30 year old, autistic, step mum to two kids who runs a doggy day care in Lincolnshire. My ideal life would be to have a small farm full of animals just for fun - I wish I had the money! For the moment I’m happy with my dog, two cats and two guinea pigs and looking after lots of other dogs. I mainly listen to audiobooks as I also work part time as a delivery driver in the evening so get a lot of reading done whilst driving.
