SuperKimbit | 59 comments I enjoyed this read! I liked the way the editors organized the stories chronologically and provided timelines of Indigenous history. I always struggle with anthologies because I will have just gotten into the story and it's over! With this book, it wasn't so bad since it felt like it was still all one story of Indigenous culture.

I think my favourite story was the one about Nimkii and the Sixies Scoop. It was so heartbreaking. I also found the one about the Oka Crisis - I think it was called Warrior something - interesting. I remember learning about the crisis in school so this good to think and learn about again.

I also very much liked the art of almost every story in the book. Compared to Moonshot, which I read right before (and I shall be commenting on shortly), I thought the art styles were superior in This Place.

I agree the chronological arrangement is good!

Also agree re. Moonshot: The Indigenous Comics Collection, Volume 1's art.
