Nathan's friends paced and paced, afraid to play football again.

Karana finished running but she was still really worried for him.

Nathan's friends finally left when one of them got a call saying to get to the hospital.

Karana left and went home. Her brother still wasn't there.

Nathan was on a hospital bed, the doctors saying that he was asking for his friends.

" Hey dude, that was one hard hit," Damian Nathan's cousin said.
" Get me that girls name and number," Nathan said to Luke.

"Um, why?" Luke asked, nervously. He took out his phone.

Karana did her homework but she kept thinking of that guy. She wod ask Luke later.

" She's the one that saved me dumbo," Nathan said to Luke.

"Saved you? You would have been fine without her!" He said.

Nathan grabbed Luke by the shirt tightly, " Would you like it if I told the guys your little secret?" Nathan asked lowly and almost sweetly.

Luke glared at him and sent the number and name to Nathan's phone.

Karana finished her homework and layed back in her bed.

Nathan reached for his phone, in which Keith handed to him, Nathan called the number.

Karana picked up her phone. It was an unknown number but she was bored so she answered. "Hello?"

" Hey this is the guy you saved on the football feild, you know I never got your name," Nathan said.

Karana smiled. "Karana. But im not sure i SAVED you. you would have lived."

" then why am I in a hospital?" Nathan asked with a chuckle.

"Because you hurt yourself badly, it wasn't terminal." She laughed.

" Now I'm starting to regret calling you," Nathan teased.

Karana laughed a bit. "How did you get my number, by the way?"
