What should it say? I have deleted one of them.

(You'll recognize the following quote because the first word in the quote should be "The".)
“he mountains are cast away with the other turmoils that melted your snowmen during your relapses into retrospect where the cat of your crossings jumped through its curious hoops while the flummoxed chicken ran around a pumpkin patch until it found the dirt that no rug could conceal for the shootout on the street that subsequently became a war in a chaotic dust storm on the porch of reflection.”
― Calvin W. Allison, Poetic Cognition
(You'll recognize the following quote because it has the line "stay strong in those hours" in it.)
“(Death and Life)
The time gets closer
all the time.
This life is fleeting
like a chime
you hear outside
on the porch
when the wind
blows out the torch.
It’s handsomely earie,
and gorgeously bizarre
how close we can get
to something so far.
Oh, the lesson to learn
from nighttime flowers.
That beautiful blossoms
stay strong in those hours
near the sunrise
and a new dawn
soon to reveal
that they aren’t gone.
The waters still flow,
and the seasons still pass
and all of the memories
we lived to amass.
The torch is still lit
near a sunrise and dawn
in a time yet seen
that will never be gone.”
― Calvin W. Allison
(You'll recognize the following quote by it not having my book title added by my name.)
“I have never experienced what is called writers block. Ideas come to me as soon as my pen hits the paper or as soon as my fingers touch the keyboard. But I have experienced cases of, what I guess I would call, mind stretching. That's when there is so much activity going on in my thoughts that I feel like isolating myself just so I can put it on paper. I recognize an overheating of my mental engine on those occasions, and I have to work at cooling it down. I do that by putting an extreme focus on my immediate surroundings. Which results in things like rare work achievements or a deep communication with people that I come in contact with.”
― Calvin W. Allison
(You'll recognize the following quote because it's missing the word "So" on the second line from the bottom.)
“Speak to the mountain,
and it will fall.
No matter how wide.
No matter how tall.
Speak to the mountain,
and watch it collapse.
No maybes, no mights,
no doubts like perhaps.
Speak to the mountain.
Cast it to the sea.
Have faith in God's word,
and speak what will be.
Speak to the mountain.
We have what we say.
Speak to the mountain,
and it will obey.”
― Calvin W. Allison, A Peace in the Spirit
(You'll recognize the following quote by it having the word "system" in the second line.)
“I’d like for you to consider something that you’ve probably never thought about before: any system of substance in the present time that has been made by humans had to have began first in the world of particles, protons, neutrons, electrons, atoms, and other forms of elements and matter. It’s all there. Airplanes, trains, vehicles, computers, and any possible thing that you can think of that has been made by humans is there. There’s really nothing new in anything that’s material, including in future material inventions.”
― Calvin W. Allison, The Sunset of Science and the Risen Son of Truth
(In the following quote, could someone please just correct the spelling of the word "drought" on the 5th line from the bottom?)
“Help me, Lord, to firmly stand!
Reach to me with Your mighty Hand!
Lift me out of this hurtful place,
and set my heart back in the race.
Stir me up, and pour me out.
Living Water, end this draught.
Spring up in me, O Well Of Life,
and quench the thirst that's caused me strife.
Search in me the deepest part.
Inspect the motives of my heart.”
― Calvin W. Allison, The Sunset of Science and the Risen Son of Truth
(In the following quote, could someone please just change the word "attributions" to "contributions"?)
“If we consider the many facets of intellectual spheres, then we can conclude in terms of genuine properties. Tailored as many may be to fit into a persona of influence, the authentic liberty still pertains, persisting to their individual attributions. There are no disguises for thoughts. They are already hidden from those to who they do not belong. No two minds think exactly alike, and it is in that logic that a unique canvas for each life resides.”
― Calvin W. Allison, Poetic Cognition

It should say: "Misinformation rules when crucial information is suppressed"."
Fixed

Yes. In some folders there is a 3-4 week backlog. Plus very few librarians work in the Quotes folder.
In addition, you have added your request to a thread that is tied to a particular author. If you don't want to make an individual request please in future use the thread pinned to the top of this folder.
You are more likely to get attention if you link to the quotes. It is best to put no more than 5 requests in a post. The more requests you put in a single post, the less librarians will be prepared to do it.
If you go back to your request & number them I will take a look. :)

As I said to the member in post #7, please don't make requests in a thread tied to a particular author. :)
The speech mark at the start of that quote appear to be the ones automatically added by GR. It is the way the software works.

These are the quotes that I would like removed due to them being added twice.

No it can't be. It is the way quotes work on Goodreads.
Here is an example of a well known quote where you can see the same thing has happened.

#1 Deleted. It may take up to 24 hours to completely disappear.
I'll leave the others until you manage to link to them (or another volunteer librarian may be happy to take a look) You have over 400 quotes & it will take too much time. Plus this is my first day attempting to use the new book page, so I'm going to be slow anyway. If you click on where it says 0 likes (or 1 like) it should take you to where you can c&p a link.

All done. It may take up to 48 hours for them to completely disappear.
I was able to delete because it was the author's request & there were no likes.

Please start a new thread ( or use this thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) & link to the quote you want removed.
If the issue is that you just don't want them to appear on your profile any more, you can edit them on your profile page by clicking on the word edit by the heading for your list of quotes.
