I wanted to ask clarification about this.

I'm mostly confused because when something gets tagged it loses it's original author so I'm afraid that instead of simplifying things it'll just lead to duplicates.

I also can't find how webcomics should be considered. Like webnovels classed as ebooks? Or only those published as actual volumes counts?

Neither webcomics nor webnovels (nor any other in-process serial) should be added to the Goodreads database.When they already have been, we use NOT A BOOK to segregate them from the database without losing user data that already exists.
