I claimed mc has blue eyes and dessert on cover. The books are done and reviewed. I just need to post the reviews in the thread in the morning.

Just claimed authors initials in tart as well. So that character will be done in the morning. :)

Could everyone please check the spreadsheet for prompts already claimed for a character to avoid confusion? This way we won't have to scramble to move around our books :)

Kade you had claimed 3 out of 4 prompts left for Harris but one more was filled by Vanessa so you'll have to either move your book to a different prompt or wait until we get Harris again!

It won’t let me edit the spreadsheet on the phone, but I’m reading a book off The Peter Pan Retellings list now and will read a book for Tagged Polyamorous next, so The Lost Boys should almost be done when we get to them.

Odd. When I claimed them last night, they were all open and like I said the books wer done. Just needed to post the reviews to the review thread. :(

Just is kind of a bummer to read a book specifically to fill a prompt and have it happen.
There’s no other characters / prompts open currently since we are waiting for others to finish their claimed prompts so I guess I’ll bank one of the books for now.
I know yesterday when I asked if I could fill any of the characters where all four prompts were claimed ( but not done ) so we could get a new character, someone asked me not to, so I’m confused.

Yes Kade It also gets easier to look for what tasks need to be completed when some of the prompts are already claimed. I am guessing the issue here was some members not checking the chat or spreadsheet before posting their books :(

I claimed a prompt for Mushu - series title has 2 U's in it. this should cover the first 4 tasks. I'll be done with my book first thing tomorrow morning. Please lmk if anyone else has a book finished and wants me to remove mine :)

Question! On the SS, there are options to check "Assigned" "Completed" and "Reviewed". I have gathered that "Assigned" is checked when we roll that Character ... should we check "Completed" when we finish the book? Who checks "Reviewed"?

Yeah check completed when you finish it. I usually wait to click reviewed until it's posted so I'm going to change the category to posted.

If we have a book we started prior to 9/1 and we finish it and it works for a task, do we count just the pages we read starting 9/1, or is it not usable?

You can use it for a category if you read over 100 pages of it in september. If it's less than 100 then just page points

It's 678 pages. I read 189 pages before 9/1, so the page count will be 489 for after 9/1 :)

I had planned to read When He Was Wicked (Julia Quinn) which is on the Best Highland/Scotland list, but I am happy to be bumped, as I haven't started it yet.

I can read one for the Paranoia list but it won't be until later in the month if that's ok!
