It is noble to marry a person so they won´t have to go back to nearly certain death. But Isiaiah is a coward. This whole going back and forth and waffling around and kicking out at Victor everytime he got angry or even more scared than he already was was grating on my nerves. The best part about the book was the son and his insight.

Its been a long time since I read menage and I thought this one, with the third, taking it in his stride that his mate was drawn to an omega. Said Omega goes into heat and moves in with the couple for a few days.
Within those days, these three men decide that they want to be mates and the omega gets pregnant.
A fair bit of sex in this book, that I feel now I am at a stage where I would rather have more story and off the page sex.

Review: I really enjoyed this story. I do love a good taboo/forbidden romance. I do think that things moved pretty fast after the death of her mom. Overall, I thought that it had a good mix of hot/sexy and sweet/fun. Stassia was really mature and handled things well. This was my first QB Tyler book and I'm interested in reading more.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars)
Review:
Cate C Wells is one of my favorite authors, so I knew I'd love this. It had everything that makes a Wells book fantastic: loveable but flawed characters, great steam, and believable chemistry. This was a mafia book, which I'm always a big fan of, but the mafia plot was actually interesting in this one. What drew me in the most was Dario's inability to feel anything... He actually read like a sociopath, and it was interesting to see how he and Posy worked around that.

I don't want to live with Liams problems. Not only lost he his partner and lover but he has dead people screaming at him all the time. I like his working partner very much. He is a very steady guy who tries very hard to keep Liam on an even keel during their murder investigation.
This is a series I'll definitely will finish later on.

I liked Matt and Aaron together. I thought that Matt got into the gay quite quickly but he thought Aaron was the one for him and so was all in.

This book was mind blowing. I was hooked from the start. All of the characters are three dimensional and have their own personality. There are so many twists and the cliffhanger just makes you want to jump right in to the next book, which I did. This books makes you ask so many questions about the business world and wonder how truthful this story is.

Run Posy Run by Cate C. Wells

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Read: Sept 26, 2022
Review: This book started off with a bang. I felt for Posy. She was a victim of circumstances by growing up in the mafia - where she never learnt her worth or had any positive role models - and having her family name tarnished. I absolutely loved her coming into her own and doing what pleased her rather than the alternative. Dario Dario Dario. He's a sociopath/psychopath and everyone leaves him to do his own thing. His struggles to understand his changing emotions and navigate the relationship were pretty amusing to read. This is the second book I've read by Cate C Wells and I like both her paranormal and contemporary works.

I loved this book. I like that Maddox is so accepting of the change in his views of himself. He always identified as straight even with foolung around with his room mate at college and suddenly he is confronted with a guy who challenges all his beliefs about himself. What I like most is that his parents are so accepting.
And Damon is so dreamy. I would like to meet him.

I loved Draven's Horde King of Dakkar series, so I thought that I would give this a go. While it didn't stand up to her more popular series, I still found this to be an enjoyable read. There was some good worldbuilding and characterization, but there was an insta-love/ fated mates element that wasn't my favorite. I trust this author enough though to continue on with the series in the hopes that it gets better.

I just could not get into this book. It was a little corny and cheesy which through me off. It also seemed a little unrealistic how quick the two "enemies" fell for each other. The sex scenes were just thrown in there to spice it up but happened at the most inopportune times. It was nice getting to know the MC and the side characters. I have heard the series gets better so I think I am going to keep going.

I loved that she didn’t just accept what was happening to her and fought back (though at times I found her to be whiny). Review: This is the starting novella of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. I had heard good things about these books, I'm not quite sure why I wasn't that impressed with it. The story was interesting, character's were ok. Maybe being that it was a novella, it wasn't quite long enough or in-depth enough to get an idea of the setting? I'm not sure, I'll have to give a full length book from the series a read at some point.
