I'm trying to write a novel, I'm not entirely sure what genre it would be, dystopian/sci-fi/fantasy-ish.

I'm also planning another novel.

I like Ally Carter too! She actually grew up in the town next to mine (same county, different town) and it's a pretty small county so I've heard all about her.

Hey everyone! My name's Reagan, and I'm working on a mystery novel. It can also be considered fantasy, depending on what you're beliefs are. I'm still on my first draft, but I hope to have the first draft done by the end of the school year (if not then over the summer).

I believe fantasy is capable of overlapping with the mystery element & vice versa.
Kind of like my saying my favori..."

Thank you! And what I meant by "depending on your beliefs", is there are certain parts of the book that, for instance, Christains may not believe in, so they would see it as Fantasy. But other religions may believe in it, so they would not see it as Fantasy. (I would say what in the book could/could not be seen as Fantasy, but it would be a huge spoiler)
