Hi Im Yunseo and I joined due to my friend Emilia who's probably lurking around here somewhere. I have 32000 words written so far for various WIPs, and I'm looking to finish a novel and get it published by the end of next year. Uhh I'm a JD Salinger fan. My current obsession if Hannibal for some reason. Yeah that's it.

I'm Sarah. I've been writing my whole life, but mostly just for fun. I just self-published my first book, Ancilla,which took me a decade to write. The genre is "Heinz 57" (lots of genres all at once...) but if I had to nail it down, I'd call it metaphysical erotica. Or maybe romantic dark academia. It's a bildungsroman with a bisexual protagonist, and it's going to be the first book in a trilogy. I'm going to start work on the sequel, Soror Mystica, soon. Trigger warnings for anyone who wants to read the book are in the book, but in short form: explicit sex, including descriptions of BDSM; age-gap romance; brief mention of troubled childhood and toxic parents; descriptions of homophobia; descriptions of food insecurity; descriptions of grieving; character briefly contemplates suicide when she is utterly overwhelmed, although she doesn't attempt it.
My favourite genres are speculative fiction (science fiction/fantasy/weird tales/horror/dystopian literature), historical fiction, history, classics (both in the Western canon and outside of it), and poetry.

my favorite genres to write are romance/romantasy or mystery !! :)
a silly fun fact abt me is that i hope to own a cat cafe/bookstore where i can shelter rescued cats while also selling my own baked goods :D
