"That would be great!" Sapphire said. "The hardest part about chemistry for me is memorizing all of the formulas." She flipped to a page in her notebook where she wrote down a few of formulas from the textbook. "You might know more about it than I do, then." She chuckled.
"I'm pretty good at remembering things too. Except for the formulas" Sapphire said. She looked over each formula, repeating each one in her head and trying her best to memorize them. She sighed. Chemistry was definitely the most difficult science for her.
((Kyleigh being so real for saying the formulas are so hard to remember in chem... sorry to butt in))
((It's alright! That's literally me lol. I'm not very good at math and chemistry for that reason.))
Sapphire smiled. "I would appreciate that a lot" she said gratefully. She thought for a moment. "What do you think is the best way to memorize these formulas?" She tapped her fingers on page, pointing to which ones she was referring to. She was genuinely curious now.

((Chem was Defo not a strong suit for me, qwq. As long as I pass that’s all that matters 🫡🫡). Sapphire is pronounced as Safff-fire or sappp-hire?))
((It's pronounced like the gemstone :)))
Sapphire watched as Rowan showed her the arcronyms, taking note and writing them down. She went over them in her head a few times, making sure to remember them. She gave her a small smile. "Thank you. This should help and make it a lot easier" she said.

Sapphire lifted her head up, glancing at the clock. There was still some time before class started, so she figured that she could study more to pass the time. She decided to draw quick sketches of the elements from the formulas to make it easier to distinguish them.
Sapphire paused for a moment, remaining silent to try and listen to what Rowan heard. "I don't think so. What did you hear?" she asked, curiosity in her voice. She was silent again, waiting to hear if the sound would occur again, although she was confused as to what Rowan had heard.

"A high pitched noise?" Sapphire said. She listened carefully, wondering if she could hear the same thing as Rowan. Then she heard it. A faint buzzing sound, not what Rowan had said. "I hear something, but not what you described. Maybe your ears are more sensitive to noises?'
Sapphire opened her bag, looking for a pair of headphones. Once she found them, she pulled them out, showing them to Rowan. "If you want, you can borrow these. I have an extra pair, so it's fine. It might help with the loud noises" she said.
Sapphire nodded her head. "Of course" she said. She held them in her hand, waiting for Rowan to decide. "Go ahead, take them. It's no big deal, really. I can always use my other pair if I need to." She gave a small smile as she spoke.

"You're welcome" Sapphire said. She had still wondered what the high-pitched noise was that Rowan heard or where it came from. But, she decided to not worry about that right now and focused on studying more, briefly glancing over each page of the textbook and taking notes.

Sapphire looked at the notes she took, noticing that Rowan pointed to a few that were wrong. She nodded her head, grateful for the correction. She quickly erased the wrong notes and rewrote them so that they were correct. "Thank you" she said.

Sapphire shook her head. "I would never do that. It's good to learn from your mistakes" she said. "I'm sorry about that. Some people are like that. They insist that they're always right, even if they know they're wrong. It's just how they are."
"Agreed. It doesn't hurt to be wrong sometimes. I don't know why some people won't admit it" Sapphire said simply. She looked at her textbook again, writing a few more formulas so she could study and memorize them for class.

((It's okay! I kind of forgot about it too XD))
Sapphire gave a slight frown, noticing the look on Rownan's face. "Are you okay? Is something on your mind?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice. She quickly spoke again to reassure her. "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. I understand."

((I was going to ask yesterday but I forgot, do you want to timeskip to somewhere else or end it soon? I'm fine with either way, I was just wondering :D))

"I'm fine," she said, not saying anything else.
((Sounds good! We can end soon, then.))
Sapphire was silent for a few moments. Not wanting there to be awkward silence, she finally spoke again. "Okay, if you insist" she said. She wanted to find out more, but she didn't question Rowan further, as she didn't want to accidentally upset her in any way.
