Laura Guilbault "Still Alice" is a book by the same author that was made into a movie.
Do you think that this one should be made into a movie? If so, with what kind of cast?

YES YES YES ... loved this book to death.
Emily Blunt or Jessica Chastain would be great as would Chris Pine or High Dancy as her husband.
oooh .. Claire Danes and High Dancy could be a screen couple as well.

Lorie Yes, this was a great story. It makes you want to slow down and be grateful for what you have in your life. Sometimes it's better to let hollywood casting surprise you!

Stephanie Yes This would make a great movie. Nicole Kidman or Naomi Watts, Felicity Jones and Michael Fassbender.

Deb Vonderhaar I LOVED Left Neglected! bought it at the Dollar store months ago, not expecting much, but recognized Still Alice. I loved the movie ,but hadnt read the book. I was hooked with Left N from the beginning!! love the witty style, and lessons and dual meaning,...I learned so much. I told my 33 yr. old daughter about it. She teaches special needs kids in Chicago suberb, so she could relate totraffic, Charlie, etc. She read it in 1 day and loved it too !! we couldnt understand why we had never heard of the book. it would make a great movie!

Libby Yes! I loved this book! So good. Loved the humor too

Sabina Kelly OMGosh that would be awesome! hmmm whom to cast? I pictured the protagonist as a brunette - so maybe sandra bullock?

Line Petersen Despite your opinions... I would not want to see LN as a movie. I thought the book and movie version of Still Alice was great.

But Left neglected... To me the book is more about explaining the feeling the disease leaves. SA was about how it caused the environment around Alice to change.

Or put in other words.
It could be made into a great movie, although it would never have the same purpose; telling us how it feels to be neglected.
I do not think the same experience can be brought to the big screen.

Danielle Murray Movies are never as good as the book... But if they made this into a movie, I would def go and see it (just as I did Still Alice". I love Lisa Genova's books!

Granthana Sinha It'll be so exciting if this book gets turned into a movie. It's a lovely story. And it'll turn out beautifully onscreen.
