I was done with the book on 3rd Sept. I liked the whole genealogy background and all. As a thriller it was a 3 star for me...

Glad you enjoyed it Subhasree. I’ve read all 3 books (so far) in the series. And each book in the series is better than the last. But to appreciate the backstory, reading them in order is recommended.
Just to clarify Subhasree, these books are not a “thrillers” - perhaps that expectation lowered your enjoyment of the book. This is a cosy mystery series 😊

Still in the midst of reading this one. The geneology is pretty interesting....I didn't know there were "professional geneologists" available to hire. So I'm learning alot about this career. No opinion yet as to the cozy aspect until I complete the book and find out whodunit.
*UPDATE* Finished the book. A pretty nifty cozy. The answers from the past provided the answers to whodunit for today's murder. But on the other hand, without the info from the past, there would NOT have been a murder in the present day.
