I can't stress enough the importance of reviews for any book, let alone a new release. According to recent reports, even negative reviews may increase the sales of a book up to 35% !
But more important is that every author literally hungers for the readers' feedback. It's so difficult to see your own work completely objectively, as, for an author, even the shortest piece of writing is something like a love child!
