A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them seemed perfect only because they were pretending it was. Moments like that happen only in fairy tales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in love-at-first-sight is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Unfortunately for Daniel, finding true love doesn"t guarantee a happily ever after... it only further threatens it.

I was honestly expecting this girl to turn out to look like the hunchback of notre dame. But then it got really cute when she came back and they pretended to be in love. (view spoiler)[ ok I absolutely LOVE Six. Her and Daniels first date was adorable. Their first kiss in the restaurant was probably one of The best first kiss scenes I’ve read. I’m just waiting for them to realize that they were the same two in the closet together lol.. I really hope they are. But who is this Italy guy she’s talking about ?? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I wish I got more out of holder and daniels friendship, but maybe that’s in previous books?? But I loved them screaming at each other about how much they love each other. And I just love Daniel and six. Their chemistry is just amazing. And I’m already getting scared about something breaking them apart. I love that they all just climb through each others windows, too. And how Daniel respects six and doesn’t try to push her too far. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ ok I absolutely loved the chapter where six meets daniels family and they make the comments about him taking too long in the showers. And when Six reacted the way she did to Daniel figuring out she is Cinderella, I started figuring things out quick. I got the theory that she got pregnant and whatever this Italian boy was that she loved was actually her baby, did she go to Italy to have the baby??? And then boom, I knew it, she got pregnant. I’m not sure how this book is going to end but I hope it doesn’t end sad and they stay together : (hide spoiler)]
