I didnt read shadow & bone but I have read Six of Crows duology. I don't think it's necessary but will help you in understanding the environment.

not really, but you'll be less confused if you read shadow and bone before six of crows. it's not like you won't be able to understand anything if you read six of crows first, but you won't be like "what is that?" when you read about the grisha powers for the first time! :)

No. It’s not. It just helps make its less of a confusing read. (I haven’t read either 😭)

definitely not but you'll miss out little character cameos and it will be harder to understand the world, so it's good to!

I read only two of the 3 books of the shadow&bone trilogy and I didn’t find them necessary to understand the plot of SOC and CK
