♡angel♡ | 43 comments The group read is over, so what are your thoughts? I really liked it, but honestly I think the movie was just a little better. Though I do love how it was written, I wish they emphasized Emma and Harriett's friendship like they did in the movie, but overall it was a nice read :)

kirstreads | 28 comments The eltons were supposed to be the real villains but I also hated the selfishness of Mr. Woodhouse. After reading I realized how good of a job they did w clueless as the modern adaptation!!

Kätriin Arumetsa | 1 comments Jane Austen is a brilliant writer and this book was written so beautifully.

kinga | 5 comments I thought the beginning was rather slow, but once I got into it I thoroughly enjoyed it.

McDoodles | 68 comments I adore Emma! I love how Austen doesn’t shy away from having unlikable characters, and how much of a powerful message it is to see her grow. Especially considering she is seventeen.
I also love Mr. Knightley
