i was thinking that my Ill King could host some kind of yearly event, like maybe a ball or masquerade dance for the summer solstice. It would be held in and around his castle (with a majority of the frozen people removed and the rest passed off as actual statues) with different characters allowed to attend. the other ill kings or people of the monarchy would attend out of courtesy while others, like those who are indifferent, would go just to see what would happen.
the anarchy though could aim to take him down or something? since the Faerie King throne was supposed to be given to the heir (who can be RPed by someone else, i don't care if they're boy or girl) who is now frozen thanks to Sol, the Anarchy could be trying to find them because the heir is on their side? also, the heir would be able to reclaim the fae throne if they succeed in finding and defrosting them.

basically huge party for monarchists while espionage hostage rescue for anarchists. maybe assassination attempt idk but i don't want the Ill King to die just yet.

this idea is really rough by the way so i'd love it if people give their opinions or add their own ideas to this.

I have to hurry and finish my character even though he doesn't really care about taking down the Ill Kings and whatever I think he'd like to see what would happen.

For the assassination thing, we could possibly have an npc ill king maybe show up and have him end up dying? But yes, i think that would be a wonderful idea!

Though considering that many of the kings and queens are perceived as greedy and power hungry at points, an incentive to get them to meet all at one castle in particular might be necessary. Maybe at the cost of grabbing hold of a precious wealth of some sort? Or possibly to stir up war or conflict. I don't know about the others, but mine would always be ready to start a war to get what he wanted x'D

Hm, im not sure about the incentive. There's usually parties around solstices in faerie lore so i figured i might as well do the same thing. I guess my character would want to stir conflict but im assuming the other Kings/Queens would come (or not, it would be up to them) with their own motives.

should there be a separate folder for events by the way? we can set up certain topics (for this event it would be locations in the castle, such as ballroom or garden) and then move them into an archive later if anyone wants to read them again.
