Hi Khurram! Yes. To have your book added to the list, first you choose a book from the first post of the list, read and review it, and then after you have posted your review links from GR/Amz, I will add your book to the list for someone else to choose.

All the authors on the list have agreed to having their books reviewed for the purposes of this list. If you try to contact someone and do not hear back, please let me know so that I can remove that person's book to the inactive list until I am able to make contact with them.

Another way, is that if you have Kindle Unlimited and the book is enrolled in KU, you can just review the book without contacting the author as many books on the list are enrolled in KU.

This is the first time I've done the one-for-one reviews, so if I screw up my post, apologies.

Hi Louise! Yes, please review one of the books from the first post of the thread. After you have posted your review links on GR/Amz, then your book will be added to the list for someone else to choose and review. :)

You can DM the author through Goodreads messaging for a review copy, or read through Kindle Unlimited if you have it. If you have difficulty getting in contact with an author on the list, please let me know.

Hi Kat, Thank you so much. My book is quite long, so I will pick one of the longer ones to read and review. Does "x2" mean you get the possibility of two reviews for yours if you review that book?

Hi Louise! The x2 (or whatever number) means that the author of that book has accrued multiple review credits by reviewing books for other people. So for example, if you were to review three different books off of the list, your book would go up with a x3 next to it, and would be eligible to be reviewed three times before being removed from the list.

And... as per the instructions in the first post, reviewing one of the first 10 books listed, which are the oldest ones, will earn you 2 review credits rather than just one.

As a quick note, could you please set your GR messaging status to "anyone can send me messages?" You'll need to do this before I can add you to this list so that people will be able to DM you for a review copy if needed.

Hi Smitha!

Goodreads makes it hard to find the PM function. To PM someone, go to their book page, and click on the author's name. That will take you to their author page:

Underneath the author's picture or avatar, you see a button that says "follow author." Next to that, there is a down arrow. Click on the arrow and you will see a drop down menu. Select "send message."

You should make sure you are using a computer or the web version of Goodreads to do this. If you are trying to use the Goodreads app, it may not work.

If you don't hear back from an author, please let me know. People on the list need to be reachable via PM to give out review copies so if there are "out of date" books on there where the authors aren't responding, I need to know so I can temporarily move them to the inactive list until that author checks back in with me. You can also read using KU if you have it.

After you've completed your review and posted your review links on Amazon and Goodreads in this thread, your book will be added to the list for someone else to choose.

Ann, can you please turn your Goodreads messages on? Right now your messages are set to where only friends can send you messages, but to participate in the list, they need to be set to "everyone" can message me so that people can get in contact with you for a review copy of your book.

No, it's still set to where you can't get messages. Can you try to fix it later when you're on a computer or laptop? Lots of things don't work correctly on the GR app.
