Re: animals, check out the above exchange starting here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Short answer is not usually, but we can have a look at the book for you

Audio narrators would go with the version you are listening to and in the case of more than one narrator of the book, then the first one credited

It's a tough one. The mods who were online are divided too. Do you have an alternative? Otherwise I'll wait for Kelly's opinion

You can use them.

message 211: by Elinaly (new)

Elinaly Can a team have again the same word for the new week they already had?
just bad luck?

message 212: by Karen ⊰✿, Fiction Aficionado (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 16597 comments Mod
yes
the words are randomised and not removed from week to week for the teams

message 213: by Karsyn (last edited Apr 14, 2015 03:36PM) (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) I haven't heard from my team member Brianna since the 4th. She's been active in another GR group and reading a couple books, but she hasn't responded to my message, nor put her books on her wheel shelf. Perhaps she doesn't want to participate anymore?

message 214: by Brie (new)

Brie | 897 comments Can the name "Oliver St. Ives" count for the letter I?

message 215: by Kay Kay (new)

Kay Kay | 1794 comments Can two people on the same team read the same book. For example a BOM?

message 216: by Karen ⊰✿, Fiction Aficionado (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 16597 comments Mod
According to my library a name like "St xxx" is alphabetised as "s" so I think you can only count it as an S

And yes team members can read the same book

message 217: by Margaret (new)

Margaret (everlastinggrace) I have a question. I have started Bridge to Haven by Francine Rivers I am reading it on the Kindle in which it says it is 500 pages. When I originally did a search on the book, the referring page, it says that it is 468 pages. Which should I go with? thank you in advance. Sorry if this question has already been asked but I don't pay attention to details like this until I have to. :D

message 218: by Karen ⊰✿, Fiction Aficionado (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 16597 comments Mod
Most of the GR versions are showing 500 or more pages so I think if you select the version you are using (Kindle) which is one of those over 500 that is ok to count as that :)

message 219: by Margaret (new)

Margaret (everlastinggrace) Thank you Karen :D

Joi | 665 comments Do rereads count ?

message 221: by Karen ⊰✿, Fiction Aficionado (new)

Yes Joi, provided it has been more than 6 months since you last read the book

message 222: by Joi (new)

Joi | 665 comments okay, thank you.

message 223: by Joi (new)

Joi | 665 comments Karen, can I get BOM points if I start/finish the book before it begins in the group?

EX:Can I read The Girl on the Train now, since it is an April BOM?

message 224: by Karsyn (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) I was checking the thread so I thought I'd let ya know Joi that the BOM points are only for if you write out the questions for the BOM, not reading them.

Karsyn (imzadi) NP ladies. :)

I need a little clarification for our word for week 5.

On the weekly wheel posting it's listed as our word being ~

Granite gray

And even for the listings in the main all about wheel-a-thon thread it's listed as ~

Granite gray (grey cover)

But there, in the description of the color of cover we need, we get grEy cover, plus on the big official wheel it's listed as grEy.

So ~ my question is, which would you like us to do?

Granite grAy (grey cover)
or
Granite grEy (grey cover)

My fault. I can't ever remember that weird American spelling of grey.
We are using the crayola colours so it is grAy

message 231: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) From one of my team members:

"I have a question. My next book was going to be an anthology.
Can I use all the authors and characters name, or is it limited to just the overall book name?"

message 232: by Karen ⊰✿, Fiction Aficionado (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 16597 comments Mod
We use the main author, or editor name (depends on the book and how it is listed as to which counts). Characters follow normal character rules

Karsyn (imzadi) Our team member Brianna came back, but now we haven't heard from Kerry-anne since the 9th, and she hasn't had any GoodReads activity since the 12th. I've sent a message with no response.
