For our 2022 group reads, we're be having alternates for each of our monthly reads. So for November we have chosen two books each - Dog on Cover/Cat on Cover - therefore members will have four to choose from when you vote in the poll. (Once again, all Aussie authors)

Our choices are:

Sun, Surf and Murder (Rosie Ryan Cozy Mystery, #1) by D.C. Pitt Sun, Surf and Murder by D.C. Pitt

A haunted house. A cold case. A new cop in town.

Did Edna Crayborne really see a woman getting strangled in the ground floor window of the old Bailey house?

Rosie Ryan isn’t sure. As a journalist with the Cape Carson Gazette, Rosie’s always on the lookout for a big news story. And the Bailey house does have a reputation as the most haunted house in town.

Death Comes to Town (Darcy Sweet #1) by K.J. Emrick Death Comes to Town by K.J. Emrick

Darcy Sweet would like to think that she is just an ordinary woman, happy in her life running the Sweet Read bookstore. But she isn't ordinary. She has a connection to the other side that seems to draw her into mysterious situations more often than not. Add to the mix the antics of a rather naughty, slightly psychic cat and the eccentric ghost of her great-aunt Millie, and you have a recipe for anything but the ordinary.

The Unusual Abduction of Avery Conifer by Ilsa Evans The Unusual Abduction of Avery Conifer by Ilsa Evans

Two women abduct and hide out with their four-year-old granddaughter Avery, who they suspect is being harmed. They both love Avery ... shame they can't stand each other. A wise and witty novel for readers of Sophie Green and Brooke Davis.

What would you do to protect a child?

Sweet Revenge (Cocoa Narel Chocolate Shop, #1) by Morgana Best Sweet Revenge by Morgana Best

Narel Myers was given the ironic name Cocoa Narel by the cruel popular kids in high school, as she was far from elegant and was obsessed with chocolate. The truth of the matter was that her love of eating chocolate had caused her to become excessively overweight. Some years later, a car wreck leads to her undergoing extensive plastic surgery on her face and body. Now that she is medically unable to gain weight, she decides to indulge her love for chocolate by opening a designer chocolate shop.
