Best title of a book? The book doesn't have to be a favorite or even something you've read, but the title really grabbed your attention!

In terms of enticing me in, I would have to go with The Night Circus. But in terms of shock value, I might suggest The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires.

I've always liked The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making as a title. And it conveys quite nicely what kind of book it is (it's lovely!).

Random (rand0m1s) | 1251 comments This is a difficult question. In terms of geeky joy from titles, the books in the Expanse series would be the ones. I just love how they can convey what actually happens in the books with just a couple of words.

If I chose only one from the series, I think it would have to be Cibola Burn

Now in terms of I saw a title and just had to get the book out of an insane curiosity, that would be Of Donkeys, Gods, and Space Pirates: The Adventures of Harold the Donkey
Bought it almost immediately though I haven't had the guts to try reading it yet.

And for the book (in this case story) whose title conveys a mood perfectly for the story, it would be The Slow Regard of Silent Things

Not SF/F or even fiction, but certainly one that rouses curiosity about the contents of the book: The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales by Oliver Sacks.

Yes! I love this title. Though I haven't read the book yet.
