Being Receptive. -Jesus warned his disciples to preach only before receptive audiences. (Matthew 7:6 says: Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls at pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.) We are responsible to share the good news; we are not responsible for people's response to the good news. Our job is not to force conversions or cram the gospel down people's throats.- If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave. -Matthew 10:14
