When weather is nice, on a lounge chair on our outdoor deck. When it's not, either on my living room couch or curled up on a beanbag in our basement playroom (if the kids aren't already there!).
My parents have a couch with a built in chaise and every time I visit I come home wanting to get a new couch...

La-Z-Boy leather recliner in our library, which is probably my favorite room in our house. Two walls of windows looking out at the river and the woods, two walls of built-in floor to ceiling bookshelves. Ahhhh…

But if I could create a spot, there would be one indoor and one outdoor.
The Indoor would be a cozy window seat or recliner in a den or library. I'm not big on fireplaces, so the house would have to have a central air & heating system that would allow manual temperature control of that room
Outdoor would be a comfortable bench under a lovely shade tree.
There would also need to be an effective mosquito-repellent system in place.

However, when i was a kid, I absolutely had favorite spots.
My first one was grade school. Laid across my bed on my stomach with my feet sticking up in the air.
As I got older, my brothers left and I got their attic bedroom. It was basically narrow but the full length of the house. At the front was where my bed and desk were location. At the back there was this tiny little window only about a foot or so off the floor (low ceilings). I had about 4 of those large cushions and some pillows, and I'd make myself a comfy spot to read next to the window. In good weather, I'd open the window.
In high school, I had 2 favorite spots that I would bounce between depending on weather.
The first was a nearby park. I'd head to s spot that was near the duck pond and just down the gill from the carillon. I even had a favorite tree to setup under. It had a resident squirrel that would drop things on me periodically. :)
If weather was bad (hot/cold/wet/etc) I'd head over to the main local library branch. I loved that place. I'd head up to the third floor and right near the SF/F section, there was a group of chairs that were really comfy. I'd grab a book off the shelves and just read all day.
We're empty nesters, so we have converted parts of our house to accommodate our hobbies. In the morning I like to read in my garden room (formerly dining room), and in the afternoon I have a comfy recliner in my craft room (formerly kids bedroom). Or curled up in bed at night ....
