A large library for the royal family and their guests to enjoy. It has huge shelves with many, many books. While there are comfortable chairs and desks, many prefer to do research and work in a more private setting.

XD )) The king walked into the library beside his son, Will. At first he was quiet, knowing what his son must be going through. In fact, he thought back to his own Selection. There were some girls in his that he had really loved. It was a shame that he picked the wrong woman. He hoped things ended up differently for his son. As they walked, he smiled at Will. "So... are you nervous?" He asked to start the conversation. Lame, but useful to know. He had quite a few things to discuss with his heir.

Will gave his dad an awkward glance. Honestly, Will just wanted to be alone. In a few weeks, 35 girls and dozens of cameras would enter the palace. Even after the Selection was over, they'd follow his private life. So, he replied, "Um... I suppose so, yeah."

Sitting in a chair nearby, he gestured for Will to sit, too. "Listen... This Selection is a big deal... and I want to make sure you know that despite that, it comes down to something very simple. Picking someone you love." He sat back in his chair, his eyes distant for his own memories, "I loved your mother, when I picked her. Even if I don't now. And I just want you to be happy with who you pick. Yes, she has to be good for a future queen, but what matters most is if she makes you happy. Her caste, her background, what everyone else thinks of her, that doesn't matter. Do you understand?"

Will say down next to his father. He was itching to get away from the forced conversation. "Yeah, Dad, I get it," he replied. Will's eyes scanned the shelves, already searching for a good book.

He stood, moving to leave, but then he stopped. "Oh, there's one more thing. I wanted to know if you wanted to know anything about your Selected. I happen to keep files on them, so if you wanted some insight about them..." He trailed off.

Will's ears perked up at this. Maybe just a peek ... No. He had to give each girl a fair chance, and that meant waiting for the official first meetings. Still, he couldn't help but feel an urge. "Maybe just one look," he blurted out, without even thinking about what he was saying.

Don't worry, this is just information, back history, their pictures. Meeting them is totally different." He led the way through the library, to the archive section. There were a couple file boxes. One titled 'James Schreave's Selection' and another titled 'William Schreave's Selection'. He pulled the William box out, glancing at Will. "Are you sure you're ready? Your future wife could be in here." He teased, smiling goodheartedly.

Will's eyes were bigger than a deer's for a split second as he looked at the large box. His father was right: his future wife was in this box. "Yes," he replied, "yes, I'm sure."

Sυммer Rαιɴ || Wrιтιɴɢ ιѕ α cαllιɴɢ, ɴoт α cнoιce. (summerrain15) Sitting, James opened the box, pulling out the files to lay out on the table for Will to see. So many girls. There was just a small history, couple of facts about their life, and several pictures. A black haired girl named Pennivylle from Sota, a caste three. A girl named Aarona from Panama, caste four. A red head named Rose from Dakota, caste four. Another red head, Sapphire, from Kent, caste two. Ect, ect. Castes ranging from 2 to 6, red heads, brunettes, blondes, raven haired beauties. There was even one girl, named Maisie Amarette, a brunette from Lakedon who was a Six, that was actually in the castle at one point because her mother was a maid. To think, Will's future Selected, only a couple rooms away and they had never met! There were all kinds of girls, all with different stories, each one beautiful. So many choices.

((Sorry I didn't reply, I had to go to sleep))

Will looked in awe at all of the beautiful women in front of him. It was insane to think one would be his wife. "Wow," he muttered. Picking up one of the files, he flipped through it. "Wait," he said, looking at one titled 'Maisie Anise Amarette'. "This girl was in the castle?" he asked hesitantly. It was just so crazy to think that his possible future wife had been just several yards away from him when they were younger.
