Read around 2010. Paperback book. Author and title unknown. A businessman learns that his wife wants a divorce. She is unwilling to change her mind. Husband takes break from work and stays with an older gentleman on the man’s property. In time, he helps the older gentleman with things around the property and in turn, he teaches the businessman about faith in the Lord through bible study they do together early each morning before chores and evening after dinner. The man writes the wife letters but still gets divorce papers in the mail. The older man continues to stress to the businessman to change himself before he can attempt changing his wife’s mind.
