Shenya Perera | 4 comments So I read it.but forgot to post but yeah it was a nice book.
I mean the literature was a bit complicated and interesting but most of the time I was just confused especially in the beginning.
It was a really nice story and if Guy is a real life guy i would be pretty proud of him.He really went through some major character development going from fireman who set books on fire to a book reading wanted criminal.
It had, like ended with a good moral and was a interesting piece of literature.
But it wasn't my book.
But I definitely liked the ending.so yeah if your a classical literature kind of person definitely recommend.!!!

Without prior warning I now feel, what I can only describe as an almost maternal instinct, to want to protect my books. Guard them with my life. Imagining a world that sees itself as ideal by stopping the masses from asking the simple question of “why?” Because in their eyes, the less we know, the better off we are. The happier we are. The less we compare. The less we question the world around us. Tempting, In theory, whilst in practice it’s another thing entirely. Imagine being stripped of the basic right to think. A world I hope to never be a part of. Maybe it’s the human urge to want to rebel, but all that I wish to do now is read and question just about everything. ‘Why am I here?’ ‘Where will I be in 10 years?’ ‘Am I happy?’ This book has left quite an indentation on my soul, after following Guy Montag around on his mission to survive. A rarity for me. Though the words of Ray Bradbury are those that will stick with me forever. I’ll leave you with the brilliance of the first sentence “it was a pleasure to burn.” And a pleasure to read.
