Dan in AZ | 2960 comments Interesting couple of months for me. All within two months, put the Prescott house up for sale, moved to a larger apartment in Scottsdale, sold the house, closed the sale and finished all the moving. Then had cataracts fixed in both eyes. Going tomorrow to get fitted for glasses with the new, much weaker prescription. Anyway, here’s what I read last month.

1. The Monkey’s Raincoat, Robert Crais
2. City on Fire, Don Winslow
3. The Deceived, Brett Battles
4. Jolie Blon’s Bounce, JamesLee Burke
5. The Strange Disappearance of a Bollywood Star, Vaseem Khan
6. Rewinder, Brett Battles
7. Holy Chow, David Rosenfelt
8. Damaged Intentions, Mike Omer
9. Mastadonia, Clifford Simak
10. Trickster, James Hall

Ann (annrumsey) | 16958 comments Dan, two Brett Battles books this month for you, which did you like better? I’ve been trying to decide if reading the rest of the Quinn series is on my radar or starting a different series with Rewinder.

message 8: by Dan in AZ (new)

Dan in AZ | 2960 comments Ann, The Cleaner series is action-thriller while Rewinder is sci-fi(ish). Take your pick.

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9502 comments You got a lot read in spite of a busy couple of months, some of which were non-reading I assume due to the surgery. Glad you came out of it all on top.

Dan in AZ | 2960 comments Carol, I had no downtime from reading. Just by chance, my old distance prescription worked almost perfectly for reading. Vision is now 20/20 in the left eye and 20/30 in the right so new glasses will only have minor corrections. Just lucky.
