I would recommend you books but I just started to get into the habit of reading sorry ;-; but a friend of mine recommended me the folk of air (series) because I was looking for exactly the same as you, so i think it doesn't have smut
@ann The 3rd book DOES have a spice scene, but I don't remember it going into very much detail so if you can handle a little spice, then you'll be fine
If you like Christmas books, then 10 Blind Dates is a good choice!Basically, this girl broke up with her bf before Christmas and her family sets her up on blind dates leading up to New Years Eve. It's funny and heartwarming so I'd think you'll like it!

SARAH ADAMS!!!! she writes super cute romances that are closed door so not smut. i’ve only read The Cheat Sheet and I LOVE IT! haven’t read her others but all her book are closed door. check out her instagram bc there is something weird going on with a few books!!!
the sun is also a star, six of crows, the selection series, and the fault in our stars are some of my fav romance books with little to no smut :)
The Selection Series 1-5 Book Set if you haven't read it is good. Basically, look for young adult romance books and you should be fine (not to be confused with new adult books, which can have 18 plus content). Also, the Taylor Jenkins Reid books I've read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, One True Loves and Forever, Interrupted don't technically have smut in them (descriptions of sex) but do have mature content (references to sex and other mature themes). Also Nicholas Sparks books don't have smut in them as far as I know but they're not for everyone. The The Notebook and Dear John (totally unrelated to the song, haha) are probably the only ones of his worth reading. Also, just look up clean romance books on good reads when browsing the rough the Lists (if you're new, you might not know where that is so just ask). I know that's a lot, but since I've had the same problem, I thought I'd help you in any way I can. You'll probably soon find authors and genres you can go back to with no problem!
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick is one of my favorite books, AND there is no smut. Super cute wholesome book about an only child who falls in love with her next door neighbor who has a million siblings. COMFORT READ!

- better than the movies is one of my FAV books highly recommend
- shatter me series!! i’m only on the third book but it is a YA series. it does get a little intense sometimes but so far there is nothing spicy in it
- lastly the summer i turned pretty series. i know since the show came out everyone and their mom is raving about it but the show is awful compared to the books so highly recommend reading them
