The exact same book is posted several times and I can't be sure, but I think the author changed her name as well. Although, I am not sure what you can do about that.

I think it is the same author, I am going to try and connect with one of the profiles to confirm. The Emma Hox is a verified author on here but Emmaline Hoffmeister is not so I can't do much unless I can get in touch with the actual author.

She has also used Emma Hox and Ayr Bray.

Between these author names, are many duplicate books.

I emailed her, I wanted to make sure her books weren't being stolen. She is now publishing under her real name. Emma Hox was her pen name.

So she is changing her name again, the names of some books are now listed under EH as well the other 2 names. I am super busy at work so I am just not going to take the time to figure out what she is doing. Later I can reach out to her and ask her to pick one author profile to use and adjust the author names as she chooses. Why she has 3 I have no idea but she should be the one to decide how she wants them listed.

Existing editions cannot be changed from author name on cover. They were published that way so are valid entries, you can add additional names (her others) to an entry though, or make new editions where appropriate.

And there is the big issue, the covers aren't all matching with ISBNS and names and it is just a mess. The author name "EH" is a verified GR author but not "Emmaline Hoffmeister" so it makes it a little trickier. I honestly don't want to delve into each entries metadata and figure out which is which. The GR system is getting worse these days and I am losing patience. I am not sure what is going on with the data transfers from Amazon but I think the problem lies somewhere in that piece.

And honestly, since I am off here by the end of the year so I am not all that interested in fixing big things like this one. Not trying to be a pain or not help but it's just not worth the time when GR is just not trying to keep up with things or make improvements.

I am sad that we are going to lose you, but I wish you the best with all your future adventures!

They definitely need to turn off Amazon's auto upload feature. Nothing but trouble since that thing started going. My copy of the original paperback edition got incorrectly changed this week. I have it in my possession, the author is Emma Hox no matter what she goes by now :( the inaccuracies drive me a little nuts.

Yeah I changed to my middle name because an old review I left on Amazon led the author to me and he sent super nasty messages. Wanted to not have the names the same to help avoid that. A reviewer I follow had an author call her a "B" because she only have her book 4 stars and ruined her perfect streak. Crazy!
