The Selection discussion

I wanted to tell someone (anyone really) that I am going to write a book. This discussion is for those who wish to help me! Give me tips or something please!

I can't give you any advice, I'm not an author, but good luck! :)

so what is your book going to be about?

I have two novel ideas.
1) A regular coming-of-age teen novel
2) A paranormal book based HEAVILY on angels because I really wanted to read one, and when I searched, none of them really appealed to me, therefore i decided i wanted to write my own :)

hmmmm................ go with the second one. coming of age is going to be white noise.

I want you to wright the second option and considering its paranormal this is pretty weird advice...but...be realistic. And when you're righting the book try to make the characters unique. Like sometimes when I'm writing something I'll like accidentaly make all the characters do things I do and things I say so pay attention to that. And I could go on forever with advice for you (even though I'm not an author)but can't soooooooooooooo hope this helped.

Yeah. I've always wanted to do something to entertain people. Writing is a little hobby of mine, kind of like acting. I haven't really decided yet. But I just want to entertain people somehow

There's plenty of ways to entertain people but as long as you're happy doin what you're doin

I read 'Angelfall' not so long ago and I've gone nuts over it. I searched for angel based apocalypse books too, and there aren't enough.

I'm definitely adding a Castiel-esque character as the main or supporting.

I hope they're moving that way. I mean, they had the boys team up with Cas to save Jimmy's daughter. I've missed the last few weeks of the show (trying to save it up so I can watch a decent chunk of it).

I don't ship Destiel. I love Cas, but all I can see with him and Dean is the bromance, not the romance, sorry. Dean's got it going on with Cas and Crowley, though.

I wish they wouldn't have made Charlie a lesbian. I would've shipped her and Dean so hard .

I think that you should write whatever you want to write.
(Just a tip...
Don't really go shouting out to everyone what your books will say. There are people out there who could be a better writer and take your idea, make a book about it, and don't give you credit. I'm writing multiple books write now and I don't tell everyone what it is about for the fear that they will write one about it and don't give me credit. I only tell my friends that have never picked up a book and have no intention of writing one. And my close friends who would never do anything like that.)
Sorry if that sounded like I'm a freak or whatever but I just wanted to warn you about that. So that way you don't get no credit for your work.

thanks for the hint but ive literally got hundreds of ideas. if someone steals that one. i can turn to another one :) its all g

It's all good but it's your idea people shouldn't take credit for ur work.

I know. But I guess i'm just too laid back to really care.

I really want someone to write a book like this.
