You know the biggest problem with dystopian cyberpunk? It's hard to keep up with reality. I grew up on novels like Neuromancer, but when I look around the world as it is today, it's hard to avoid the feeling that the Sprawl is actually BETTER than the dystopia we got.

My first novel, immechanica, is a new take on near-future cyberpunk dystopia. It's a lot less "shiny chrome and neon, cyber jockeys navigating the consensual hallucination of the Net, Japanese keiretsu building media empires" and a lot more "autonomous armed drones with facial recognition and IR cameras, corrupt populist politics, DNA-tuned poisons, Neuralink brain implants, and hunter-killer drone swarms." I tried to extrapolate from current or nearly-here technology rather than the more traditional cyberpunk staples that will likely never exist.

If that sounds like your flavor of suck, I'm looking for ARC reviewers. I have a limited number of paperback ARCs and a good number of Kindle and ePub ARCs. The book publishes March 2023 from Luminastra Press, who have kindly made ARC copies available to me.
