Piled High - 2023
Duration: January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023
Progress: 4 out of 15
For this challenge we will create a pile of books!
Each new book on the pile shares one word with the previous book, or differs by only one word. This word can be in the title or describe an element on the cover of the book. You can choose to use either titles or covers for this challenge, or both! Multiple piles may be created, but please note that each pile should contain at least 5 books. You can also plan ahead and don't have to read the books in order.
Example using titles:
Gone with the Wind
Gone Girl
The Girl Who Played with Fire
Things You Save in a Fire
Those Who Save Us
How tall can you make your pile?

First book in the 20 book pile - Let's Talk About Love by Claire Kann. This is a really well-done debut! I truly appreciate the ace representation in the book! “There’s something powerful about making a grand entrance in a fantastic pair of red heels.” I also like how the author drew the characters. However, the plot was jumpy, and time passed between chapters without warning. I look forward to reading more from her in the future. Recommend! 4 stars

I was debating with myself, in fact, and... yes, thank you, it' a very funny (fun?) challenge :-)
I'll go for 10 books, thank you Ilona :-)

Just completed my second book (word in common - Love) - The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. This romance has the perfect recipe - interesting characters, a good measure of comedy, a healthy measure of reality and heart, all wrapped around a core of good. Kinda like a delish sea salt caramel! The MC could be considered Demi/graysexual., and I really appreciate the inclusivity. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars
