Why does OSC repeat everything 100 times?

Richard Garabedain I really almost loved this book series...Actually i do love it, except for 2 things...the ending of the final book...Idk i was expecting something much better than this drivel...But mostly its how OSC repeats the explanation for riggs and friends powers about 100 times each. Every few minutes he re-explains them as though we had forgotten
