SciFi and Fantasy Book Club discussion

All my friends enjoy sports and video games, which is fine! I love reading, found this app in October and I know 2 people who enjoy reading. 1 that is far too busy to talk, and the other is a cousin with his own life going on so again too busy. If there is anyone in Peterborough area, shoot me a message. Reading an awesome book with no one to share the excitement getting old lol. 🤣

I can relate! I've been married over twenty years to a non-reader 😏. Since I don't talk about my books in real life, I just do it on goodreads!

Welcome Tyler! You have come to the right place. Hopefully some people in your local area will reach out but you now have people from all over the world to discuss books with.

I'm not from your area but people come here from all over the world to talk about books with others with similar taste. You might not find someone from your city but there a lot of us you can talk to, there are groups dedicated to certain books or series, or you could find someone to read a book with,
in this group or elsewhere.

I too am married to a non-reader. I look to GR to discuss books, but have also been a part of a RL book club for about 13 years. With Covid, even that went online, so GR has become even more important to me!

You should see if there are book clubs at your local library.
