A new year and piles of good books to read!

Let's get the year started with a theme of FIRE AND ICE

I know there are plenty of horror stories set in the cold and snow. Those books should be fairly easy to find. It may be a bit of a challenge to find horror set with heat or fire as part of the story but you wonderful HA folks always seem to come through with suggestions. Give it your best shot.

As always, authors may not nominate their own books.

Please do not nominate books read in the last few years.
The list of recent group reads can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Complete nomination rules can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Have a great new year!

Netanella | 572 comments This is a tough category!

I'll nominate Christopher Golden's Road of Bones. It's set in icy Siberia, and the Golden last name gets the 'fire' nod.

Road of Bones by Christopher Golden

The books nominated could be just cold or just heat.
It's not necessary to have both. :)
That would really be a challenge.
