i couldn't have adored the 'good girls guide to murder' trilogy more !! but, this prequel made me so mad. it just fell so flat, it felt sort of like a money grab- after how much people adored the original three books. it felt like jackson was trivialising pip's passion in a way that i just didnt agree with.

i would have much rathered a forth book in the original series, continuing from where we left off. i want to know how pip is now.

Mira Mohamed | 6 comments I finished this book and honestly (spoilers)
it was a really nice book but not the best actually, the only thing I couldn’t believe was pip being wrong after she literally over analyzed the whole thing yet still got it wrong, her explanation made more sense than the actual story since if you think of it logically it’s obvious she’s right, but then again her mistake was to overly analyze it which just landed down to her downfall sadly. Overall the book was nice, I like it but not as much as good girls guide to murder.
