Alisha (ajsepiphany) | 6 comments Hello, very recently I read a fiction book and the conversation between two characters has piqued my interest in astronomy. I want to know more about stars but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Satya | 18 comments Hello!
You can start with cosmos by carl Sagan. Its a wonderful book and also look into books by Brian green ( the fabric of the cosmos and the elegant universe).

Alisha (ajsepiphany) | 6 comments Saw some good reviews for Cosmos. I think I'll go for it. Thanks :)

Hrishabh | 21 comments Great suggestions by Satya!
+1 for Cosmos by Carl Sagan (or anything written by him :) ) and Brian Greene (into String theory much?)

You can also look for the works of other popular physicists in the field. One of whom I greatly admire, Brian Cox.
Everyone knows about Stephen Hawking, you can check his works out too. Also, Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Let us know your thoughts on Cosmos when finished.

Alisha (ajsepiphany) | 6 comments Well, I am not looking for anything geeky. Just something more than GK and to understand stars better.
