I just enjoyed a return visit to Chief of Police Bruno Courrèges in southern France in Martin Walker's Dordogne Mysteries. In The Dark Vineyard, wine, food, and festivities are disturbed by sabotage and suspicious deaths.

I finished listening to Death on a Winter Stroll by Francine Mathew’s - 3.5*. Enjoyable police procedural involving politicians and actors that’s not a cozy, with a nice mix of Christmas.

I just finished listening to Voices by Arnaldur Indridason - 4*.This was a well-written police procedural with a Christmas setting that focused a lot on conflicts in relationships between fathers and their sons and daughters. A little on the dark side with a hopeful ending, it was another enjoyable entry in this series.

I finished listening to Christmas Mourning by Margaret Maron - 3.5*.Judge Deborah informally gathers information and her deputy husband formally investigates the death of a high school cheerleader in a not accidental car crash. Plus a good mix of warm Christmas moments with Deborah's big extended family.
