I was pretty sure that The Bullet That Missed would actually hit the mark. Of course I enjoyed Richard Osman's unusual Thursday Murder Club of elderly sleuths. Wonderful characters, actual danger.

The Girl in the Ice, by Robert Bryndza, is the first book in his popular Detective Erika Foster series. It's hard to believe it was the author's debut novel. Great read, with six more to follow.

I finished listening to Daisy in Chains by Sharon Bolton - 3.5 *.The question throughout the book was whether the man convicted of murder really did it or not. It kept me interested and reading to find out.
