Gayle | 111 comments I finished listening to A Death in Vienna by Daniel Silva - 3.5*.

This was an interesting and complex story of an Israeli spy helping to track an old Nazi war criminal. Well-written and had some compelling parts of the experiences of several Holocaust survivors.

Sarah | 385 comments Here's my review of Outback by Patricia Wolf, another great addition to the popular Australian Noir sub-genre of crime-thriller fiction. The story follows an unlikely detective duo, as they investigate the disappearance of two German nationals in the dry interior of Queensland.

Sarah | 385 comments Here's my review of Emily St. John Mandel's 2009 debut novel, Last Night in Montreal. It's a complex and somewhat unsettling narrative, with a long-unsolved mystery at its heart.

A suspenseful psychological story about an unstable alcoholic that sees something that may be connected to a murder. Lots of twists, turns and surprises.
